Vasiliki Palieraki, Principal Investigator NTUA and Research Responsible of IAMON and Charalambos Mouzakis Associate Professor NTUA and Research Responsible of IAMON would like to invite you to participate on the workshop on:

«Seismic response of column and colonnade – the role of vertical connectors»

The event will take place on July 10, 2024 in the Multimedia Amphitheater, NTUA, Athens, Greece (Zografou Campus). The participants will be provided with the possibility to present and attend the workshop remotely.

The scope of the workshop is to create an interactive forum with academics, researchers, professionals, other stakeholders for presenting the work done and have feedback from the real needs of practice. Reinforced interfaces between structural members in ancient monuments are promoted.

Distinguished scientists will participate as invited speakers (to be soon announced).

Objectives of the workshop:

  1. Experimental investigation of ancient monuments.
  2. Structural analysis of ancient monuments with FEM or DEM
  3. Connectors in ancient monuments
  4. Examples of field applications

Proceedings will be issued, which will include the Abstracts, as well as presentations, if the participants agree upon it. The Minutes will be sent electronically via link, which will remain active for 30 days.
